About
Ryosuke Takata was born in 1997. He completed graduate studies at the University of Tokyo (Takashi Ikegami Laboratory) and received a Ph.D. He is currently a JSPS Research Fellow PD, Project Researcher at the University of Tokyo, Researcher at the Alternative Machine Inc., and Researcher at the Simulacra Inc. His main research themes include artificial life, multi-agent simulation, evolutionary computation, reinforcement learning, and game informatics. He is also engaged in numerous system development projects as an engineer, including 3D CAD systems, VR systems, and reinforcement learning for collective play with small robots, while serving as a part-time lecturer at several universities. He also serves as an Editorial Committee Member of the Japanese Society for Artificial Intelligence (JSAI), a member of the JSAI Task Force for Future Generations, and a Technical Committee Member on Human Communication Science (HCS) for the Institute of Electronics, Information and Communication Engineers (IEICE). He enjoys programming and swimming.
